Elite is a small, independent security installer run by Steve Davies from Ellington in Northumberland. The person who quotes the job is the person who fits it and the person who comes back to it.
Who you're dealing with
Security installer
Two or three paragraphs in Steve's own words go here. Record him on the phone rather than asking him to write it — three minutes of him talking makes a better page than an hour of anybody writing one. Ask him: how long he has been doing this, how he got into it, why he moved towards security work, and the worst job he has ever been called out to.
Keep it in his voice. People are on this page for one reason — to work out whether you are real before they ring. A specific, ordinary story does that. Marketing language does the opposite.
Before this page goes live, check these are true: years of experience, anything said about insurance, and any qualification mentioned. "Security installer" and "electrician" are both fine — neither is a protected title. Do not write qualified, registered, certified, approved or accredited next to either, and put no trade-body logo anywhere on this site unless there is a current certificate in the file to back it.

Why security
That distinction is the whole business. Almost every security fault we get called to is a wiring fault — a camera that drops out at night, an alarm that triggers when it gets cold, a door release that holds fine until the cable warms up. Firms that only fit boxes swap the box. Coming at it from the electrical side means the cable, the supply and the termination get looked at first, which is usually where it actually is.
It also means one visit instead of two, and one person to ring afterwards instead of an installer blaming a sparky and a sparky blaming an installer.
How we work
In writing, before anything starts, with what's included and what isn't. If something unexpected turns up mid-job — and on old properties it sometimes does — work stops and you get a revised price to agree. Nobody gets an invoice they weren't expecting.
Sometimes the honest answer is that the old system is fine, that the fault is a £4 part, or that what you're asking for won't solve the problem you actually have. Saying so costs a job now and earns three later.
We can't get you an automatic police response, and you'll find that written plainly on the alarms page rather than discovered at the worst possible moment. If your insurer needs a certified firm, we'll tell you to use one.
No monitoring subscription, no equipment rental, no auto-renewing service plan. You own what you buy. An annual check is offered and never charged unless you say yes to it.
Where the work comes from
Almost every job here arrives through somebody who has already had us out. That's a good way to run a small business and a slow way to grow one, which is the honest reason this website exists.

Publishing invented testimonials is a banned commercial practice under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, and the CMA can impose a fine directly without going to court. So: collect real Google reviews first, then quote them here with the customer's first name and town, exactly as written.
Ask every customer, at the same point in every job, with the same wording — filtering who you ask based on how the job went is itself unlawful. The quickest route is a QR code to your Google review link, printed on the invoice.
